Metallica’s Generosity Helps Strengthen Support for Women and Families Facing Abuse
Aanchal Women’s Aid is honoured to receive a £40,000 donation from Metallica, one of the world’s most influential and enduring rock bands. Their generosity is more than a financial contribution, it is a powerful recognition of the vital work we do to support women, children and young people affected by domestic abuse.
For over four decades, Aanchal has stood beside those who feel unheard, unseen or unable to access help through mainstream services. Our mission has always been to provide safety, advocacy, emotional support and practical guidance to families in crisis.
Metallica’s donation directly strengthens this mission, enabling us to reach more survivors, expand specialist programmes and continue offering life‑changing support at the moment it is needed most.
